Live from Music Row Wednesday morning on The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. – host Leahy welcomed the original all-star panelist Crom Carmichael to the studio to discuss how Democrats would never go against their own party, the lapse in ballot counties in several states, and how Washington, D.C. defends Antifa.

In addition to the curfew itself, I’m asking each Ohioan every day to do at least one thing that reduces your contact with others. Or one thing that enhances your personal contact with someone and your emotional contact with them but not a physical contact.
Leahy: And that crazy guy Crom. You’re looking at me like who would say something like that? The Republican governor of Ohio Mike DeWine imposed a curfew at 10 o’clock in Ohio because you know, he loves government control over things. The President by the way is unhappy with DeWine because DeWine has already followed the lead of the major networks and pronounced proclaimed Joe Biden president-elect. He can’t wait to work with Joe Biden. The President yesterday Tweeted, I wonder who’s going to run for governor of Ohio?
Carmichael: Well, here’s what’s interesting about the difference between Republicans and Democrats. No Democratic governor would ever do that today. They would never go against the leadership.
Leahy: Never.
Carmichael: Republicans have an independent streak. Sometimes it’s very annoying. Mike DeWine can be very annoying.
Leahy: Very annoying.
Carmichael: The Secretary of State of Georgia can be very annoying. But what Republicans don’t do is physically intimidate members of their own party.
Leahy: Democrats do that all the time.
Carmichael: Democrats do that. Democrats also will intimidate members of the opposition party if they need to do so. And that’s why I said in Michigan you can’t count on the legislature up there. But and I wouldn’t if I were just a state legislature and the Democrats threatened me and perhaps threatened my family. And by the way in the old days and that’s what the KKK did. and that was a Democrat institution. Then after that, it was labor unions. And labor unions did that. And that was a Democrat institution. Today it’s Black Lives Matter. You saw what happened in Washington?
Leahy: They attacked.
Carmichael: After the Trump rally.
Leahy: Sure. Roger Simon was here sitting next to you on Monday. But now I’m seeing more videos. He didn’t see a lot of videos. He saw some of it but he didn’t see nearly as much as was videoed. and so in Washington and did the Democrats Who are in charge of that city did they do anything to try to help the Republicans or the Trump supporters who were there? No, they did exactly the opposite. They more or less told the Black Lives Matter and the Antifa people.
Carmichael: People go get them. Yeah, and if by the way and if they turn around attack, you will be there to help you will arrest them and we saw that defend themselves. We actually saw them defending themselves and then all of a sudden police showed up when they knocked an Antifa guy on the ground.
Leahy: It is a police state in Washington, D.C.
Carmichael: We’re in a very very frightening spot in our country.
Leahy: Speaking of which by the way before you get to that Crom you were talking about how the House seats are going. There’s been very little progress in the past 72 hours on it.
Carmichael: Why?
Leahy: You know, this is a question. I don’t know the answer to that.
Carmichael: I mean if you’re down to counting one percent of the vote or two percent of the vote, in three days you can’t finish it? Why? That worries me.
Leahy: There five seats that have not been determined.
Carmichael: How many Republicans have how many seats have Republicans picked up?
Leahy: Nine as of today. They picked up nine seats and have gone from 200 to 209 Democrats have lost eight seats. They’re down to 221. Now the five seats that are undetermined yet, it’s interesting. In Upstate New York around the Syracuse area right around where I used to live as a kid in Madison County, which is near Syracuse right in that area. Former congresswoman Claudia Tenney who lost in 2018 to this Anthony Brindisi character has been leading him like 54 percent to 42 percent since the election night. They have not gone beyond 83 percent of precincts counted there. I have no idea why.
Carmichael: And she still ahead by that much?
Leahy: Yeah, but that hasn’t changed in like a week. Something weirds going on up there now. In southeast Iowa, the incumbent Democrat is slightly behind but will be calling for a recount. Probably that would shift to the Republicans.
Carmichael: A recount is fine.
Leahy: That’s yeah, it’s totally fine.
Carmichael: If it’s if that one is almost completely called. And there’s going to be a recount that makes sense to me why they haven’t all that one. But the one in New York, that’s a complete and utter mystery.
Leahy: It’s a mystery. And you know, these are like about seven counties in Upstate New York. These counties I mean, I lived a grew up in Upstate New York. I know at the County’s do their these are just like normal people. They shouldn’t be 83 percent reporting. There’s one county or two counties that’s a problem up there. And I don’t know what’s going on with that. It could be actually the metropolitan area of Syracuse. That would make some sense.
Carmichael: How many days are we since the election? We are two weeks.
Leahy: Onondaga County is the only urban county in that district.
Carmichael: Why can’t they count?
Leahy: Because they’re Democrats.
Carmichael: Okay, that makes sense. Do you think they actually think that they can cheat that much?
Leahy: And I don’t know other than it’s a weird situation. I mean, she’s 12 points ahead right?
Leahy: With 83 percent counted.
Carmichael: Okay, so she’s 12 points ahead with 17 percent out.
Leahy: Now let me just say the following Crom. We left here on election night at midnight with 91 percent of the votes counted in Wisconsin. President Trump up by 5 percent. When I got here the next morning five hours later at five o’clock he was losing by 20,000.
Carmichael: We’ve discussed that and and and and and and you and I both agree that there’s that there is chicanery going on with the voting software. Now you can’t do that everywhere because you’ll eventually get you’ll get caught because they’ll be some people. there are many many Democrats who are not terrible people. There are many many leaders in the Democrat Party who are terrible people.
Leahy: Mostly. Almost all.
Carmichael: You have to be terrible.
Leahy: Terrible.
Carmichael: You have to agree to do all of these terrible things. But if you’re a low-level Democrat who believes in your party, and then you actually see the cheating there are people who are who have signed affidavits.
Leahy: Yes.
Carmichael: And so that exists and so you can’t cheat across the entire country and every in every race because you’ll end up getting caught.
Leahy: The three other races in play, there are five. There’s one in New Jersey. Northern New Jersey that looks like the Democrat is like a three-point lead. And then there’s two in California where the Republicans in Southern California Mike Garcia who won that special election in the 25th when the woman who got disgrace for that, you know various personal peccadilloes shall we say. He’s ahead by like 500 votes.
Carmichael: And that’s 100 percent counted.
Leahy: Yes. And another in California where it’s separated by a couple of 100 votes. So again, it looks to me like the Republicans are likely to pick up four more. It will end up being 213 to 232 is what it looks like.
